What we collect and why
Enquiry and referral forms: your name, email address, phone number, site location and project details, so we can respond to your enquiry, arrange surveys and prepare quotes. Lawful basis: taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
Funding alerts: your email address, the UK nation you chose and your customer type, so we can send you relevant funding updates you asked for. Lawful basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link in every email.
We don't sell personal information, we don't buy marketing lists, and we only send the emails you signed up for.
Who processes it for us
Form submissions are received through Netlify, which hosts this website. Funding alert subscriptions are managed in Brevo, our email platform. Enquiry details are held in our customer records system. Each provider processes data only on our instructions.
How long we keep it
Enquiry records are kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any resulting project, plus the periods required for legal, warranty and accounting purposes. Alert subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your personal information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to our use of it, or withdraw consent for the alerts at any time by emailing info@extantenergy.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
